2. Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg Day
3. Downtown Halifax Day - Halifax Breweries and Distillery Day
4. Annapolis Valley Day Vineyards and Cape Split Day
For those who aren't interested in museums and guided tours, there are plenty of things to do all over the city!
1. Dartmouth Day (Beach, Mall, Breweries)
Dartmouth has a lot to offer and it's a nice place to explore! We like to pack a lunch, bathing suits, and sunscreen and go to Rainbow Haven Beach in the morning to swim in the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is beautiful, great to walk along, and has nice soft sand.If you have visitors who like to shop, Mic Mac Mall is in Dartmouth and it's a good place to stop.
We also headed to two breweries, Nine Locks and Spindrift to try the different locally brewed beers.
2. Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg Day
Always a staple for any visitors, Peggy's Cove and the beautiful Lunenburg and Mahone Bay are always on our list of things to see in Nova Scotia.Sweet Treasures in Lunenburg has excellent fudge, we love to stop there! And they have ice cream with homemade waffle cones too.
Another great stop in Lunenburg is the Ironworks Distillery to try the local rum.
